Our Core Values (THRIVE)
Our Impact
Impact is more than just numbers; it’s the stories, the breakthroughs, and the ripple effects created by our work. In just over a year, Women Solidarity Initiative Uganda has built a strong foundation of transformation through mentorship, leadership development, career support, advocacy, and institutional growth. This section reflects our journey so far; the lives touched, the mindsets shifted, and the spaces we’re reshaping to create a future where every young woman has the tools, guidance, and opportunity to thrive.
Year of Impact
In just one year of existence, Women Solidarity Initiative Uganda has become a beacon of hope and empowerment for young women navigating their academic and professional journeys. What began as a vision to bridge the gap between education and opportunity has grown into a vibrant movement of mentorship, leadership, and advocacy. We’ve built strong foundations, touched lives, and set a clear trajectory for long-term impact.
Empowered Mentees
We have walked alongside 35 bright and ambitious young women; students and early career professionals; providing them with mentorship, career guidance, and leadership support. These women have not only gained essential skills and clarity in their personal and professional lives, but are now confidently taking steps toward their goals, equipped with the tools and support they need to succeed.
Dedicated Mentors
Our community of 27 selfless mentors; women leaders, professionals, and change agents have poured their time, wisdom, and hearts into nurturing the next generation. They have served not just as mentors but as role models, accountability partners, and champions of transformation. Their dedication has been the backbone of our impact.
Transformational Cohorts
Through two impactful mentorship cohorts, we have created a structured, enriching experience that combines one-on-one mentorship, masterclasses, community engagement, and career development. Each cohort has been a step forward in building a sustainable ecosystem of support, where mentees eventually become mentors and the ripple effect of empowerment continues.
